Cool Sculpting FAQ

How fast will I see results?

Many see results as early as 3 weeks post treatment however, the typical patient sees results closer to 10-12 weeks. Your body will still flush out fat cells and continually do so for up to 3-4 months post treatment.

Does it hurt?

When the treatment begins you may experience some pressure, pinching and/or intense cold. This will dissipate a few minutes into the treatment. Most patients are comfortable for the remainder of the treatment and enjoy reading, working on a laptop, watching television, or even taking a nap.

How long does it take?

Each patient is different based on the customized treatment plan your Certified CoolSculpting Technician discusses with you at your complimentary consultation.

How much weight will I lose?

CoolSculpting is not a weight loss treatment but rather a fat cell reduction. Most people do not experience much weight loss with this treatment.

How many times do I need to come back?

We recommend 2 treatments per area of concern spaced 4-8 weeks apart. This will give you a more significant reduction than treating the area 1 time. During the consultation your technician will evaluate the area and give you the best treatment plan to fit your goals.

Does it tighten the skin?

Some may find a little skin retraction, but CoolSculpting does not address the muscle tone under the skin. Exercise is still the recommended for further tightening.

Where does the fat go?

Fat cells that have been treated are now recognized as waste. The body naturally processes the fat and eliminate these cells.
